History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
