Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He is wearing a long, grey, dusty cloak, marred by teas. His head has been shaved. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born in the north. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Robert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: Balimaar hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. History: Balimaar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Reynard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
