History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
