Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is short and red. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Marshal again.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Percival is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Percival was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Soapmaker. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born in the east to a Locksmith, Percival learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and wants to open a new tavern
