Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Roland never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
