Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His first spouse was a Sculptor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Roger learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gifted student he started as a Barkeep, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to be a barkeep again

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Human compassion.
