History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He's also a talented Laborer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. When Peter reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He very much looks the part of a Layabout. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Clerebold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and sabotage a competitor
