History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of blonde, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is blonde, braided, and well cared for. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He got into the Butcher business at a young age. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spy. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has worked as a Spy like his mother before him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Balimaar was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He is in excellent shape and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
