Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: Born in the north to a Stylist, Simon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise.
