Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
