Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but he was a colossal failure. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Roger wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Justin's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with his god.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miller for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and balancing his hectic life and new miller responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
