History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gilbert was born with his mother's beautiful face. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He worked as a nervous Carpenter and found it very stressful. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
