History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barrister. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with his Stableman father left him crippled. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
