History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Servant, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
