History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Kody has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Patrick is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Patrick alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
