History: Gifted from a young age, Gerald studied abroad. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He struck the Detective job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Ralf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Richard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
