His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balimaar is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balimaar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anthony was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Aldous was born with his mother's beautiful face. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Beggar work with an outfit from a few towns over. Beggar work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Soapmaker. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: John was born the youngest of three triplets. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
