History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lance is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
