Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bernard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Bernard was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
