History: Born to a Crown-heir, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mayor father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To be a Mercenary again; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
