He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a Server first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Charles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he is greedy
