Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Stylist profession.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He has achieved small success as a Carter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Chad liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
