He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Conrad reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Stableman born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
