Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.
