History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kody was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Cory wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now owns his own business.
