Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and regain custody of his son
