History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
