History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He struck the Courier job and began his own company from there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Architect. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
