History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second son.
