History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

History: Born to a Jeweler, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Cory was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born in the north. His first spouse was a Junk Dealer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he seems to be bored by most things
