History: Miles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Armorer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This tall, slender man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: Lewis speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born to a Fisher, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Human Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He has the majority of his body covered in plate, marred by sweets. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world
