Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a tan coat over a yellow low-cut shirt, and a broad hat upon his head. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Randal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), marred by teas. His white hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: Roland hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears grey trousers with brown and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roger grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he's looking for his big break

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears baggy white pantaloons and a brown scarf. He has no hair. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Diggory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Diggory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
