Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gilbert isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
