History: Frederick hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has money and likes to spend it

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
