History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Kyle was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and many brigands want him driven away
