History: He was born in the south. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Tanner for the past few years.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to dire rats.
