History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Diggory grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Server for the past few years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion
