History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hubert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
