History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
