Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature axe.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
