History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gerald took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He takes great joy in being the best Interpreter in town.

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Jocelyn has worked very hard to control his curse. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
