History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When Hugh reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has never given up on his painting dream.

Arnold was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed.
