History: Born in the west to a Baker, Kody learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no hair. This hazel eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At some point he was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many giants want him driven away

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available he will default to his crossbow. His red hair is knotted and matted. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Robert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Robert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Robert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is lean but muscular and is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Patrick was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
