History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lance was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ernest has worked very hard to control his curse. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.
