Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and his religion dominates his actions
