Description: This man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His hair is cut close to his head. His amber eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Mercenary. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. Sporting a auburn mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Adelard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His skin is flawless and his blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
