History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Arnold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arnold's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
