Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Godfrey was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was a Barber, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He has achieved small success as a Detective.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born to a Sculptor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Shoemaker mother left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Crown-heir responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern

His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Adam is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and to get a good night's sleep
