His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Born to a Blacksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
