Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roland was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
